PeerTutor is a free public curriculum and tutoring platform. Our mission is to pair public coursework with expert tutor support so learners can move at their own pace and still get one-on-one help when they need it.
Our mission
We believe the fastest way to learn something is with the help of a real person who already understands it. A good tutor adapts to how you think, answers the exact question holding you back, and keeps you motivated. That kind of attention has always been powerful — and historically, expensive and hard to find.
PeerTutor exists to change that. We give learners a simple way to find vetted tutors for any subject, book a lesson in minutes, and meet face-to-face in a live online classroom built right into the browser — all completely free. We give tutors the tools to teach what they love on their own terms, give back to their community, and reach motivated students.
Curriculum sources are cited plainly, so students know where lessons and practice pathways come from. We think the learning path should be as transparent as the knowledge it helps share.
